With my radiator support plans on hold until parts arrive, I moved on to other things... And I’m glad I did.
Because this had to go on first anyways.
It added quite a bit of length to the car, and lining it up required some... Persuading
Thankfully the holes were well marked from previous installation otherwise there’s a TON of adjustment for where it could sit, theoretically throwing off the fitment of all the front end parts. And hey, it might still.
Once I figured out which way the bolts washers and nuts went in (using the previous ‘damage’ caused by the knurling as a guide) everything went pretty smooth.
So why the “Hmmm” title? Well, because this is coming up soon:
But I have ZERO hardware to bolt it on....

Hey, I forgot to mention, while you had the door apart did you check the window felts to make sure you don’t scratch your glass? they are really chickenshit on these cars.

If I remember right, Lowes carries some bolts similar to the body bolts that might work.

I actually cleaned all 4 windows I have today. 2 are really nice, drivers side has a tiny bit of scratching. Passenger side is mint. The two that are original to the car are covered in scratches and primer overspray. I have a few good felt guides, and will be saving the nicer windows for a later date. IF I put the windows back in for the move it’ll be the crappier ones.

Once I know the thread pitch, I’ll borrow some from the hardware store that I call the dealership I work at. Sadly we do not stock fender washers though. I may have to improvise or visit an actual hardware store for those.

that’s good. Mine are shot, replacements are real expensive so I may just fab something with velcro or something similar. I bought some used glass off craigslist that is in significantly better shape.
